This page explains what Profolio receives from Facebook, and how to have it deleted. You can do most of it yourself, in under a minute.
If you signed in with Facebook, or connected Facebook to an existing Profolio account, we store:
If you used Facebook import, any post you imported was copied into your portfolio as a normal item — its text and images now belong to your Profolio account and are no longer linked to Facebook. Those items are yours to keep or delete like any other item; disconnecting Facebook does not remove them.
This deletes your Facebook identifier and access token from Profolio immediately, and keeps the rest of your account intact.
Already signed in? Go straight to your authentication settings.
If Facebook is the only way you sign in, disconnect it only after adding another sign-in method — otherwise you will lock yourself out of the account. Signing in with a one-time email code always works.
You can also revoke access from Facebook's side, which stops Profolio from being able to use your token:
To have the stored identifier and token deleted from our side as well, follow Option 1 or email us as described below.
To delete everything — your profile, items, collections, uploaded photos and videos, sign-in connections and sessions, along with any child accounts you created — email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
We will confirm your identity, delete the data within 30 days, and email you when it is done. Backups are overwritten shortly afterwards.
Any question about deletion, or anything that did not work as described here, goes to [email protected]. Our Privacy Policy covers what else we collect.
